Your Raider Wrestlers have had a productive week of wrestling with two invitationals and CAAC League Action. 

Last weekend the Raider Boys Wrestling Team took 3rd out of 15 teams at the Comstock Invitational, just 2 team points shy of 2nd place and some hardware. The Raiders crowned 3 champions in Landon Guilford at 157lbs, Gunnar Williams at 190lbs and Mark Meyers at 285lbs. 

On Saturday, the Junior Varsity Squad entered a Varsity tournament at Ithaca where they beat Byron's Varsity squad and placed two wrestlers: Tanner Darunday took 5th at 175lbs and  Bryce Fullett took 6th at 190lbs.

Wednesday night the Raiders Boys took on the Olivet Eagles for some CAAC White League action and routed them 55-12. Fastest pin of the night went to Mason McGregor with a pin in just :33 seconds!

On the same night, the Raiders took on the Gladiators of Fowlerville where they suffered a 20-50 loss. Pinning for the Raiders were Mason McGregor at 150lbs and Mark Meyers at 285lbs.

Wednesday, the Raider Girl's team got 2 duals of their own! The girls took on Olivet in their first ever dual and came up just short scoring 9 points to the eagles 12 points. Fastest pin went to Alexis Pettit pinning her opponent in 1:40! The girls then went on to battle the girls from Fowlerville and came up short, but not without a tough battle. 

This puts the Raiders Boys Wrestling Team at an overall record of 14-6. They travel to Shepherd this weekend.

The inaugural Raider Girls Wrestling Team is 0-2 and will be at Ovid Elsie on Friday.
