Wrestling opened up their season and their league competition on Wednesday, at their Gratitude Night. This event was dedicated to recognizing those professionals of Portland Public Schools in which the wrestlers were grateful for. Each wrestler invited one guest and they were recognized before the matches started. 

The Raiders came out strong starting with a 73-6 win over JW Sexton recording 10 pins. The fastest pin went to Griffin Opperman recording an :08 pin!

The second and final dual of the night was against Battle Creek Central. The Raiders again came through with a victory, winning 63-15 with 6 pins and Gunnar Williams recording the team's fastest pin in :50.
