In game 1 the Raiders fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 0-2 loss to Lansing Catholic.  Catholic took the lead on a double in the first inning.  Both sides showed strong pitching and dualed back and forth the entire game until Catholic scored one run in the top of the seventh.  Caden Thelen led the Raiders going 2-3 at the plate while Brady Krause & Gunner Williams each added a hit for Portland. 

Game 2 the Raiders bats came alive with 8 hits for the 3-1 win over Lansing Catholic. . Marc Nobis & Evan Thelen went 2-3 while Caden Thelen, Marky Meyers, Carson Martin and Brody Moore each contributed with a hit. Caden Thelen threw a complete game for the Raiders allowing three hits and striking out six.

The Portland Varsity is now 7-2 overall and 1-1 in CAAC White.  Varsity's  next up game is  Thursday (4/27) @ home against Williamston. 

The Portland JV team also split with Lansing Catholic.  First game Lost 3-8 and the second game won 19-3.  The JV are now 5-2-1

On Monday night the Portland Freshman team split with Williamston. First game 8-2 and lost second game 0-3.  The Freshman are now 5-1 on the season.
