The varsity girls basketball team defeated Eaton Rapids 42-21. The Raiders defense was suffocating all night as they forced 33 Eaton Rapids turnovers. On offense, the Raiders were led by the hot shooting of Paige Spedoske as she finished with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Portland got a great all-around game by Malia Thelen who nearly missed a double-double by finishing with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 steals. The Raiders are now 8-6 overall and remain in 2nd place in the conference at 4-1. 

The boys also picked up another win beating ER and moving them to .500 at 6-6.
