The girls freshman baseball team improved their record to 11-0 tonight with a 45-33 win over St. John’s. The Raiders trailed most of the game and were able to tie it at the end of the 3rd quarter. The 4th quarter was all the Raiders to get the win on the road. Grace Avery and Alexis Hengesbach came up big for the Raiders scoring 14 a piece and with 7 and 12 rebounds. Lauren Spitzley scored 6 and Willa Almy and Veda Smith scored 4. Ava Zimmerman scored 3 and played great defense in the game. The team showed grit and found a way to win. The Raiders travel to Mason on Thursday.
