The Raider Freshmen won their 6th straight with a 54-32 victory over Lansing Catholic on Thursday evening. Brady Rowe paced the attack with 19 points while Owen Moore and Max Sandborn combined to hit seven 3-pointers on their way to scoring 15 and 10, respectively.
Defense continues to be a strength for the Raiders as they are giving up just 34.3 points per game on the year. The Raiders improve to 7-2 and will put their winning streak on the line Monday at 4:00pm, when they host the Grand Ledge Comets.
The Freshman girls basketball team traveled to Lansing Catholic last night. The first half was a close battle but the Raiders were able to pull away in the second half to beat the Cougars 30-17. Leading the way for the Raiders was Alexis Hengesbach with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Lauren Spitzley added 10 points. Grace Avery played big for the Raiders with her defense and she pulled down 17 rebounds!! The Raiders are now 9-0 on the season and travel to St. Johns and Mason next week.
