The Freshman girls basketball team picked up two wins over the weekend to extend their record to 8-0. On Friday the Raiders traveled to Sexton to take on the Varsity team. The Raiders came away with a victory with a 32-25 win. Leading the Raiders were Alexis Hengesbach with 11, Grace Avery with 8, Willa Almy with 7, and Lauren Spitzley with 5. On Saturday the Raiders took on the Rams of Holt. Final score in the contest was 51-15. Leading the Raiders was Alexis Hengesbach with 16, Lauren Spitzley with 11, and Willa Almy with 6. The team will take on Grand Ledge on Tuesday and Lansing Catholic on Thursday next week.
