The Portland boys basketball team squared off with LCHS Friday night after losing to them 32-78 in January.   The gym was buzzing after the girls had an amazing win over LCC prior to our game.  After the first qtr. LCHS was leading 17-13.   Portland went on to outscore LCHS 17-13 in the second qtr. to go into halftime tied 30-30.   LCHS won the third qtr. 16-14  to lead at the end of the third 46-44.   The guys locked in and played an unbelievable fourth qtr. outscoring LCHS 23-13 to win  67-59.    Portland had a very balanced scoring attack with Marc Nobis leading in the scoring column with 16 pts., Trent Meyers with 13 pts., Dom Novara with a double double with 13 pts. and 10 rebounds, Evan Gross with 10 pts., and Chris Battley with 9 points.    Nothing like sweeping LCHS on the hardwood.   Next game is Wednesday at Carson City to take on a 16-2 Carson City team, then following that up on Friday going to ER after losing to them 60-74 in the first game
