The Freshman Girls Basketball team had a couple of tough road opponents to start the week. On Monday, they faced a tough DeWitt team for a rematch from earlier in the season. Unfortunately the Raiders came up short and lost 13-32. Leading scorer for the Raiders was Ana Babcock with 11. Tuesday the team traveled to Jackson Parma Western and came away with a 32-23 win. Leading scorer for the Raiders was Gillen Pung with 10. Ana Babcock scored 7, and Kennedy Snitgen scored 6. The Lady Raiders travel to Sexton on Friday to take on their varsity team. 

The JV Girls Basketball team Played two tough games in two days on the road this week. Monday the girls headed to Dewitt and picked up a big 44-40 win. Jayden Townsend led the way with 10 points and Paige Spedoske added 8. Ella Gruber pitched in with 7 points and 2 assists while Ally logel scored 6 and pulled down 9 boards. Aubree Faulkner added 6 points including 2 big free throws with 8 seconds left to seal the win. 

Tuesday the team headed to Jackson for a showdown with the unbeaten Parma Western team. The team hung tough for most of the game, but couldn't quite finish as we fell 37-50. Spedoske led with 13 points, Erica Russman added 6, Jayden Townsend 5 and Ella Gruber pitched in with 4. JV Lady Raiders are now 14-1 on the season and headed to Detroit Renaissance Saturday.
