Played at the Legacy Golf Course in Hastings, the girl’s JV golf team
finished in third place in the Saxon Dozen Invitational Tournament. The
Raiders recorded a team score of 319 to finish just three strokes behind
tournament runner up Thornapple-Kellogg’s 316. Vicksburg won the twelve-
hole, par 48, ten-team tournament with a score of 296.
Scoring for the Raiders: Out of 64 tournament golfers, Bailey Fish shot
a 74 - finished in third place and medaled; Ella Gruber carded a score of
77 - finished in tied for seventh place and medaled; Nora Wagner and Paige
Spedoske each shot rounds of 84 and each tied for twenty-sixth place in the
tournament.
The JV’s go to Eaton Rapids on Monday, September 13 th to play in the fourth
CAAC White Division JV Jamboree at the Bonnie View Golf Course.
