Boys Golf Wins League Championship

Played at the very highly rated and challenging Emerald Golf Course near St. Johns, the Portland boys golf team fought off a strong, eighteen-hole effort by the Lansing Catholic Cougars as well as the heat and strong winds on Tuesday (May 25th) to claim both the 2021 Divisional Golf Tournament and the overall Divisional Team Championship. Behind another consistent team performance, the Raiders finished four strokes better than the Cougars by the scores of 354 to 358. Charlotte took a slim two stroke victory over Eaton Rapids, 368 to 370 to overtake Eaton Rapids for third place in the final standings.
