Trierweiler Pitches One-Hitter; Varsity Baseball Sweeps Charlotte

Portland Varsity Baseball swept the Orioles of Charlotte on Tuesday night in league play. This puts the Red Raiders at 5-3 in the CAAC White Conference. Trenton Trierweiler had a perfect game going into the 6th inning and ended up pitching a 1-hitter with 13 strikeouts winning the game 9-1. The hot bats in the first game were Grant Ruddy, Trevor Williams and Trenton Trierweiler were all 2-4.
The 2nd game Hunter Morris/Brady Bush combined for 5 Strikeouts and Morris picks up the win on the mound for the Raiders with a 8-1 final. The bats were still hot in the 2nd game with Hunter Morris going 3-4 , Trevor Williams 2-3, Jorgen Sonday and Alex Russman 2-4.
