The Raiders of Portland swept the Bulldogs of Ionia in a league double header Tuesday night. In the first game, the Raiders were down 1-6 in the bottom of the last inning but rallied to come back to tie tie it up 6-6. With momentum in their favor, the Raiders persevered in the extra inning for  a 7 to 6 victory.. The hot bats were  Grant Ruddy,  Trent Trierweiler, and Hunter Morris each going 3 for 5. Sophomore Marc Nobis pitched a jem of a game with Trent Trierweiler getting the victory. The second game, the bats were still on fire and the Raiders took it to the Bulldogs 14 to 5 in 5 innings. The Raiders were lead by a slew of hitters; Grant Ruddy went 3 for 3 while Jorgan  Sonday, Brady Bush, Trevor Williams, Reese Townsend all went 2 for 3. Trent Trierweiler had a solid outing on the mound the second game to get the win. The Raiders have the weekend off but will travel to Eaton Rapids Tues 4/27 for another League game.
