The Raider Varsity Baseball team traveled to Coldwater, Michigan this weekend and played in the Pat Lowe Memorial Tournament.  The Raiders had hot bats and beat up the Wildcats from Three Rivers 20-3 in 5 innings.

Leading the way was Alex Russman with 4 hits & 2RBI’s, followed by Grant Ruddy with 3 hits & 4RBI’s and Hunter Morris with 3 hits and 3RBI’s. The winning pitcher was Sophomore Marc Nobis

In the 2^nd game, the Raiders faced the Trojans from Traverse City Central and came up short in a barn burner going 8 innings losing 3-4.  Jorgen Sonday led the offense going 2-3 with 2RBI’s.

The Raiders are off to a 2-3 start  and will face off against the league favorites, Ionia Bulldogs at home on Tuesday.
