Highlight Wrestler of the night was Drew Miller as he outmatched his Waverly opponent James Wagner (Ranked #14 in Division 2) 9-5 in a back and forth battle. Drew was taken down first but then refocused, escaped and secured a takedown taking the lead, 3-2. After giving up an escape and a takedown, Drew once again responded by scoring and taking the lead with an escape and a takedown for himself making the score 6-5. Drew owned the 3rd period scoring 3 more points with an escape and a takedown and not giving up any points which secured the match 9-5. Way to go Drew!

The thrill of the day came from Deakin Guidi in his overtime - sudden victory win against his Hemlock opponent. With just :40 seconds left, Deakin Guidi was losing by 5 points and in the neutral position. He made a valiant attempt and secured a takedown and nearfall points to send the match into overtime.
