The Portland girls basketball team continued their winning ways last night by defeating Olivet, 44-30. The girls have now stretched their winning streak to 9 straight! The Raiders were led by Ashley Bower, 19 points and Breckyn Werner with 13 points. Alivia Densmore had a solid game with 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals, while Ava Gruber finished with 5 assists and 4 steals. The Raiders are now 10-1 and face last years conference champion Charlotte Orioles on Friday night.

The JV Girls basketball team also improved their record to 6-5 with a 43-36 win over the Olivet Eagles last night. Grace Clark led all scorers with 16 points. Stella Durrant and Maria Villa Dosta each had 8 points, and Paige Pung chipped in with 5. Next up is the Charlotte Orioles, Thursday 4:00 tip off. 

The boys JV basketball team won their game against Olivet 51-40.  Dalton Becker returned from an injury to provide an offensive spark off the bench, leading the Raiders offensively with 13 points.  Trevor Williams' scrappy performance allowed him to contribute 11 points in the win with Haden Getchell contributing 9 points and Jack Roe 7.

The boys freshmen team also won.
