On Thursday October 17th, Carter Rosier and Andrew Seavey traveled to Eaton Rapids to represent Portland Boys Cross Country at the CAAC White Division League Finals.   Despite it being a little cold, the weather cooperated for the first time in a number of meets this fall, and the guys took advantage going out fast!   

Carter Rosier always sets the pace for the Portland men, but it was Senior Andrew Seavey who made the most of his last Cross Country League competition, staying on Carter for the first mile and a half and running his personal best on this course, cutting almost 2 FULL minutes off his PR from just a few weeks earlier.   Carter who ended up being the rabbit in this race, or pace-setter, was spent by the second mile and finished about 50 seconds off his earlier time on the course. However that is not it, both runners will get to finish up this season at the MHSAA Regional event this Friday at the Uncle John’s Cider Mill Course.
