The girl’s JV golf team improved their league record in the CAAC White
Division to 4 and 0 by outshooting divisional nemesis Lansing Catholic at
Monday’s jamboree played at Royal Scot Golf Course in Lansing. Played as a
nine hole, par 36 match, the Raiders finished with a team score of 218 to out
distance Lansing Catholic Central by thirteen strokes (with a 231). Due to
transportation issues Charlotte was unable to bring their JV team to
yesterday’s match.
Scoring for the Raiders was: Madison Lockwood carded a personal best ever,
seven-over-par 43 and earned medalist honors; Aubree Faulkner finished with a
56; Lyndan Desgranges shot a 59; Josie Goodman and Jada Spitzley both came in
with a 60.
The JV’s will compete in a six team, nine-hole tournament hosted by Lansing
Catholic Central at Groesbeck Golf Course today - Tuesday, September 10th .
