The boys tennis team played two matches at the end of last week. Thursday they hosted Haslett. Haslett has a very tough team and we only managed to win two matches. Jorgen Sonday won at 4 singles and 2 doubles of Kurt Kraczon and Alex Russman also won.

On Saturday the team traveled to Grand Rapids South Christian for a quad. We did much better in this one and ended up winning the whole thing against 3 teams that often qualify for the state tournament. Flight Champions were Jorgen Sonday at 4 singles, Marty Thelen and Gabe Hankey at 1 doubles, Alex Russman and Kurt Kraczon at 2 doubles, and Casey Smith and Kai Kipp at 4 doubles.

The team kicks off its league season with Lansing Catholic away on Wednesday.
