second place going into next week’s eighteen-hole divisional tournament.
Lansing Catholic extended their undefeated divisional standing by taking
first place shooting a team score of 178. Ionia edge out Portland by three
strokes 190 to 193 to take second place. Charlotte came in fourth place with
a score of 201 and Eaton was fifth with a 260.
Scoring for the Raiders was: Zach Pier who shot a 41; Jared Thomas finished
with a 47; Hayden Getchell carded a 49 and Ethan Getchell rounded out the
Portland scoring with a 56.
The current divisional standings have: Lansing Catholic at 30-0 (with 36
pts.); Portland at 22-8 (27 pts.); Ionia at 19-11 (24 pts);
Charlotte at 13-17 (19 pts.) and Eaton Rapids at 6-24 (with 12 pts.)
The CAAC White Divisional Eighteen-Hole Varsity Boy’s Golf Tournament, where
individual player and team points are doubled, will be played at The Emerald
Golf Course near St. Johns next Tuesday, May 21nd.

Last night the JV golf team played in their fifth and final Jamboree of the season. The Raiders came into the Jamboree in a three way tie for first place with Lansing Catholic and Charlotte.
