JV tennis demolished the competition Saturday At the PHS JV Invitational. The team won 22 out of 24 points on their way to victory. The Grand Ledge team were runners-up with 15 points. Portland had 6 flight champions. 1 singles Xanthe Cross, 2 singles Mya Collins, 1 doubles Brooke Adams and Alaina Highfill, 2 doubles Ashley Pasikowski and Faith Smith, 3 doubles Kate Mickley and Adriana Krieger, and 4 doubles Kara Kraczon and Bryna Adams were all flight winners. 3 singles Olivia Morrow and 4 singles Autumn Shimer were runners up.

The JV team plays again tonight at East Lansing.
