The boys varsity basketball team has notched two consecutive wins starting with a double overtime 53 to 52 win at Charlotte on Friday night.  Aryan Virk Led the Raiders in scoring with 23 points. Owen Russell had 19 and Tate Dziewiatkowski Chipped in with seven points. Jordan Petersen hit two big free throws in the second overtime to help seal the win.  Blake Meyers, Gavin McGregor and Tate Dziewiatkowski were  locked in defensively all night long to help control the oriole offense

On Monday night the raiders defeated Lansing sexton 57 to 52 in the first round of district action. Owen Russell lead the way with 18 points including four late free throws that helped seal the win.  Aryan Virk had 16 points and Jordan Petersen had 12 including two huge free throws late in the game.  The Raiders now advance  to Wednesdays district semi final action at home against Lakewood at 7:30.
