The Lady Raiders have been wanting to get out to faster starts and they did just that Friday night verse Eaton Rapids, putting up 25 in the first quarter.   However, double digit lead does not help when you commit 28 fouls. With a number of players watching from the bench, the Greyhounds used their size advantage and pounded the ball inside chipping away.   The second half played out exactly the same with Eaton Rapids scoring easily inside and from the foul line to give the Raiders their 2nd conference loss of the season on Winterfest Night.

Calley Goodman had 14 and Ashley Bowers had points while Jolee Pung collected 7 rebounds in the loss.  

Playing back to back nights means moving on mentally from a bad loss and that’s just what the Lady Raiders did Saturday Night, winning a overtime thriller at Olivet High School’s Winterfest Evening.   

With the 2 teams trading leads, the Raiders dug down deep to pull out the win.   Ashley Bowers lead all scores with 29 points and Ava Gruber was hot for the arc netting 18 points.   Jolee Pung collected 7 rebounds and Ashley Bower had 5 steals in the win.
