The varsity girls basketball team got off to a great start to their season by beat Laingsburg 32-31. The Raiders trailed most of the game but managed to hold the Wolfpack to 1 point in the 4th quarter. Breckyn Werner hit two clutch go ahead free-throws with seconds remaining to seal the victory for the Raiders. The Raiders were led by a strong team defensive effort and Ashley Bower led with 15 points. The Raiders are now 1-0 on the season and face conference rival Ionia on Friday. 

The JV Girls BB team started the season with a big win, beating the Laingsburg Wolfpack 48-15.  Ava Guilford led all scorers with 15 points while adding 5 assists and 8 steals. Liv Densmore led in rebounds with 12 while scoring 8 points and adding 4 blocks. Grace Clark has  6 points 6 steals and 3 assists and Brooke Seal had 7 points and 2 steals. It was a great team effort as 8 different players scored for the Raiders.
