On Monday, the Portland Cross Country Program hosted the Inaugural Portland Invite which was the largest race it has ever hosted with over 750 runners throughout 5 races that included elementary, middle and high school participants. The high school and middle school races hosted some of the best teams in the state creating a powerhouse showdown and some tough races. Portland Runners ran hard and the men's team finished 9th of 11 teams and the women's finished 10th. This event couldn't have happened without our tremendous community support, parents and volunteers, thank you!

Portland varsity runners will be competing again on Saturday at the Greater Lansing event in Grand Ledge hosted by Playmakers. Good Luck!
