The JV football team moved its record to 7-0 with a win against the previously unbeaten Ionia team last night.  Hayden Getchell threw a 15 yard pass to Jayce Gillette, Grant Ruddy threw a 50 yard pass to Trevor Williams and a 45 yard pass to Ethan Patrick.  Patrick also ran the ball in from 30 yards out.  Cam Roof had a 60 yard run for a touchdown that started in punt formation.  The defense had some timely stops and was led by the linebackers Zimmerman and Gillette.

The freshmen also beat Ionia soundly, 39-14.
